Josh Shapiro Did Not Serve in Israel Military, Spox Confirms

A spokesperson for Gov. Josh Shapiro confirmed with the Daily Beast on Friday that he never engaged in military activities despite claiming in a 1993 op-ed for the University of Rochester’s student paper that he volunteered for the Israel Army.
