Maphis to perform at fundraiser

CUMBERLAND — Multi-instrumentalist Jody Maphis, who got his start playing on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry at age 15, will perform at a fundraiser June 22 to benefit area kidney dialysis patients. The evening of music, to be held at 1812 Brewery from 6-9:30 p.m., will raise funds for patients of Western Maryland’s kidney dialysis unit.
