Altered mugshots of Florida protesters originate from parody X account

Mugshots of four students arrested during a protest at the University of Florida shared on social media have been altered to change their facial features and make them appear older. The manipulated images were first posted online by a parody account on platform X. Social media posts shared the edited images with the caption: “Mugshots have been released tonight of some of the students who have been arrested at the University of Florida.
