A large, destructive tornado tore through the cities of Barnsdall and Bartlesville in northeastern Oklahoma on Monday night, as dangerous storms swept across the Plains.
The National Weather Service received reports of at least 16 tornadoes, including at least eight in Oklahoma. Severe thunderstorms also swept into Oklahoma City and Tulsa overnight.
