CRANSTON — A Cranston School Committee member was arrested Wednesday on charges that she embezzled funds from the parent-teacher group she led, according to a state police news release. Tera Norberg, who also serves as president of the Stone Hill Elementary School Parent Teacher Group, was arrested by members of the State Police Financial Crimes Unit on charges that include unlawful appropriation, embezzlement, giving a false document to a public official and obstructing an officer in execution of duty, the news release from Col.
