A man was found dead Tuesday after a shooting in Northeast Washington, authorities said. At around 4:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of North Capitol and Patterson streets NE for the report of a shooting, a D.C. police spokesman said in an email. The man was found dead at the scene.
The address is in the Noma neighborhood, less than a mile from Union Station.
Police did not immediately release the name of the victim, and no further information about the incident was immediately available.
