Statue of Ruth Bader Ginsburg Unveiled To Commemorate Her Birthday, Women’s History Month

A statue of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was unveiled to celebrate her birthday and acknowledge Women’s History Month.
New York State Assembly member Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn and Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams unveiled the statue in Ginsburg’s hometown of Brooklyn, New York.
“She is a role model to me and to everyone everywhere. Her legacy will live on,” Bichotte Hermelyn said.
She continued, “Her work is not over — we must continue championing women’s rights. Gender bias is still alive and well, even in our progressive city.”
