Firefighters are tackling a wildfire at Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh.
Photographs shared online showed plumes of smoke coming from the landmark on Sunday afternoon. The cause of the fire is unknown.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that it had responded to the alarm at Arthur’s Seat at 4.05pm on Sunday.
A spokesman said: “We have three appliances and specialist services in attendance.”
