Red Cross to hold annual 9/11 blood drive at Fenway Park on Thursday

The Red Cross holds blood drives on the date of the anniversary each year , encouraging people to donate throughout September because of the dip in donations over the summer. The public can donate blood at Fenway Park’s 521 Overlook from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. in honor of those killed in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on airplanes that crashed in New York, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania.
