Claire's Accessories faces an uncertain future in the UK after its parent group filed for bankruptcy in the US on Wednesday. The US-based fashion, jewellery and accessories maker, popular with teenage girls, revealed the scale of its debt in a filing with the bankruptcy court in Delaware. Claire's has estimated assets and liabilities each between $1billion and $10billion, and 25,001 to 50,000 creditors.
