About AJ+ Media Bias Rating
AJ+ is run by Al Jazeera media network, which is funded by the government of Qatar. AJ+ has millions of social media followers and creates short videos on political issues, which it posts to Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram. Most of the videos have a clear Left bent and focus on topics typically of interest to those on the left. AJ+ often omits libertarian and right-wing perspectives and views. AJ+ frames left-wing politicians and ideas favorably and right-wing politicians and ideas negatively or omits them entirely, and sometimes, misrepresents them.
AJ+ is a project of Al Jazeera, a media outlet funded by the state of Qatar.
Media Bias/Fact Check rates Al Jazeera as "Mixed for factual reporting due to failed fact checks that were not corrected and misleading extreme editorial bias that favors Qatar." According to Wikipedia, "In 2010, United States Department of State internal communications, released by WikiLeaks as part of the 2010 diplomatic cables leak, claim that the Qatar government manipulates Al Jazeera coverage to suit political interests."
