Ogden Canyon closed indefinitely after road collapse caused by river flooding

OGDEN — State Route 39 through Ogden Canyon is closed indefinitely after part of the roadway was washed out by the river. The Utah Department of Transportation issued an emergency alert for the canyon Thursday morning, saying "there is no estimated time of opening, use alt route if possible."
