Several fire departments battle fire at St. Joseph County landfill
Smoke from a fire at the Waste Management Prairie View landfill in southeastern St. Joseph County billowed into the sky.
The blaze was reported around 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, at the landfill just north of Bremen. Nearly a dozen firetrucks from multiple departments arrived to battle the flames.
There were no reports of any injuries. So far, no word about the cause of the
