At least 14 students and one teacher were killed in a mass shooting at a Texas elementary school Tuesday, Gov. Greg Abbott said.

The alleged shooter, an 18-year-old local Uvalde man, has died, Mr. Abbott said. He said it was believed that responding officers killed him.
