BCA investigating fatal shooting by St. Paul officers
St. Paul police officers fatally shot a person on Monday night in the Payne-Phalen area, according to the police department.
The shooting happened in the 1100 block of Rose Avenue just before 7:30 p.m. One person died and no officers were injured.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating.
Police said they plan to release some additional information

Man dies after being shot in the eye in St. Louis
A man died after being shot in the eye early Thursday in south St. Louis.
Police said the 33-year-old victim was shot about 2 a.m. Thursday in the 7300 block of Virginia Avenue. His name was not released.
The scene is in the city's Carondelet neighborhood.
He was taken to a hospital, where he died.

The young man died at the scene, officials say.
An 18-year-old from St. Paul was killed in a car crash early Sunday morning. Eh Lee, 18, of St. Paul was killed in the crash at 80th St. East and Concord Boulevard in Inver Grove Heights just before 3 a.m. Sunday, according to a news release from the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office. He died at the scene.
