Daybell attorney files appeal following death sentence decision
BOISE, Idaho — A jury of 12 convicted Chad Daybell on all 8 counts, including first-degree murder for the deaths of Tylee Ryan, JJ Vallow, and Tammy Daybell on May 30, 2024. A Fort Wayne man who was sentenced to 80 years in prison for a woman’s murder has asked a higher court to reverse his convictions. Appeals court upholds ban of Texas gender-affirming care investigations
March 30 (UPI) -- A Texas appeals court has upheld a lower court ruling blocking the state from investigating parents for wrongdoing if they allow their children to receive gender-affirming care.
In its 53-page ruling issued Friday, the Texas Court of Appeals for the Third District in Austin affirmed a lower court ruling granting a temporary injunction against state officials.
