Tax Day is here. New data shows Americans are seeing larger tax refunds this filing season. While the Internal Revenue Service confirms an increase, a claim from an anonymous source within the Trump administration appears overstated.

The Trump administration says average tax refunds have jumped 24% compared to the four years before President Donald Trump took office, crediting recent Republican tax legislation.
