YES. President Donald Trump's tariffs cost U.S. households at least $1,000 on average in 2025, according to several reports from nonpartisan organizations.

A calculation by the Tax Foundation measured the average cost per household arising from tariffs on imported goods from China, Canada and other countries to be $1,000 last year.
