The FBI said it executed a search warrant at the Fulton County elections office outside Atlanta on Wednesday amid President Donald Trump's renewed efforts to challenge the 2020 election.
An FBI spokesperson, Jenna Sellitto, said the agency was executing "a court authorized law enforcement action" at the county's main elections office in Union City, Georgia. She did not specify the objective of the search and described it as part of an ongoing investigation.
Georgia's secretary of state's office and Fulton County's elections offices did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
