The Republican candidate for Philadelphia district attorney promised Friday to do a full review of the highly publicized Ellen Greenberg case if he’s elected Nov. 4.
Greenberg is the 27-year-old schoolteacher who was found dead in her apartment in 2011 with more than 20 stab wounds. The Philadelphia Medical Examiner’s Office recently reexamined information in the case and again classified the death, the subject of a Hulu docuseries, as a suicide. The ruling has distressed Ellen’s parents, Josh and Sandee Greenberg, who say authorities continue to make faulty assumptions in the case.
