A man was shot and wounded in downtown Chicago on Wednesday in broad daylight, following an attempted robbery, police told Newsweek.
A security guard was leaving a business in downtown Chicago when the suspect approached him and tried to forcibly take what he was carrying, Chicago Police Department said.
