Florida State University officials are advising people to “seek shelter and await further instructions” amid reports of an active shooter on campus.

All classes and events were canceled for the rest of the day and students and staff not currently on campus were told to avoid coming to the school.

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare said it is actively receiving and caring for patients related to the incident but did not have specific information to share.
