Authorities launch investigation into fire that started at New Mexico GOP headquarters

Federal authorities have launched an investigation into a damaging fire that broke out in the entryway of the New Mexico GOP headquarters over the weekend. 

The fire broke out early Sunday morning, and authorities have discovered unspecified “incendiary materials” at the scene, a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives spokesperson said Monday.

The spokesperson did not elaborate on what the materials were, according to The Associated Press.
