Person abandoned baby girl on Bronx street in tote bag, NYPD says

Police on Monday were looking for a person they said abandoned a baby girl in front of a Bronx residence early on Sunday. Someone left the girl wrapped in blankets in a tote bag on Rev. James A. Polite Avenue near East 167th Street just after 6 a.m. on Sunday, according to the NYPD.
