Suspected gunman dead after shooting at Northern California school

A suspected shooter was killed Wednesday following a shooting at Feather River School of Seventh-Day Adventists in Palermo (Butte County), law enforcement officials said. Few details were immediately available about the incident, but officials with the Butte County Sheriff’s Office said students were being taking to a nearby church, where parents could reunite with them. “The suspected shooter is deceased,” the sheriff’s office said. It was not immediately clear whether anyone else had been injured.
