Berlin's Chief of Police is warning the city's Jewish and gay residents to exercise caution in the city's Arab enclaves, as part of her comments on the rise of antisemitism after October 7.
When asked about safety in Berlin in an interview with German news daily, Berliner Zeitung, the city's Chief of Police, Barbara Slowik, said that while there are not necessarily any "no-go" areas around Berlin, she would encourage residents "who wear a kippah or are openly gay or lesbian to be cautious in certain neighborhoods."
