Thirteen years ago Friday, 62-year-old Terry Thompson released 50 wild, exotic animals he kept on his Muskingum County farm before dying by suicide, prompting a police response that killed lions, tigers, bears, wolves and more. Eighteen endangered Bengal tigers, 17 lions, eight bears and other animals were set free by Thompson from his 73-acre farm west of Zanesville on Oct. 18, 2011.
