Georgia school shooting ends with multiple deaths, injuries; suspect in custody

A school shooting in Georgia Wednesday ended with at least two people killed and a suspect arrested.
The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office said gunfire erupted shortly before 10:30 a.m. at Apalachee High School in Winder, 50 miles northeast of Atlanta.
Sheriff Jud Smith said at a press conference there were “multiple injuries” but didn’t delve into specifics.
