Once highly decorated Marine goes to jail after pleading guilty to felony offenses in Stafford

A woman who was a high-ranking enlisted Marine when she plowed into two teenagers while driving drunk in Stafford County last year went to jail Friday after pleading guilty to two felony charges. Beth Ellen Abbott, 40, of Stafford pleaded guilty in Stafford Circuit Court to two counts of DUI-maiming. She was also convicted of DUI.
