The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday issued a warrant for a suspect charged with shooting a man in south Caldwell, west of Boise. A 44-year-old man was shot at about 7:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 5000 block of Lake Avenue, according to a news release from the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff’s deputies arrived to find the victim with “multiple gunshot wounds,” the release said. First responders transported the victim to a local hospital in critical condition, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Gabriel Meza, 34, was charged with felony...
