Former Rep. George Santos, R-N.Y., claimed his car was broken into in New York City and then called on Mayor Eric Adams to resign for his poor handling of crime.
"Look at that, Mayor Adams, this is the city you’re running," said an infuriated Santos in a video he posted to social media on Wednesday.
"You need to resign in disgrace!" he wrote on the message accompanying the post.
"Having you car broken into is a freaking terrible feeling. I can't even describe it properly!" he added.
