Inmate found dead in Scotts Bluff County Jail identified

A 46-year-old inmate who died Friday in the Scotts Bluff County Jail has been identified. David C. Roberts, 46, of Scottsbluff, of the was found unresponsive by staff at the Scotts Bluff County Detention Center at about 6:30 p.m., the Scotts Bluff County Attorney said Tuesday. He was arrested on Nov. 29, on suspicion of a violation of the Nebraska sex offender registry.
