Election 2023 results: Douglass Township

An incumbent has hung onto his post on the Douglass Township Board of Supervisors.

Republican John Bauman, who serves as chairman of the board, easily defeated his challenger Eden Richard Jr. in Tuesday’s election.

According to incomplete and unofficial results, Bauman received 591 votes while Richard received 220 votes.

Supervisor are elected to six-year terms. Their responsibilities include adoption of ordinances, approving budgets and expenditures, appointing members to various boards, and making decisions to ensure proper township management.
