Authorities in said a 3-year-old obtained an unsecured handgun and accidentally shot their 1-year-old sibling, killing her. San Diego County Sheriff's Office dispatch received a call Monday around 7:30 a.m. about a gunshot at a residence in Fallbrook, and responding deputies confirmed the 3-year-old got a hold of the firearm and shot the 1-year-old, whose name was not released out of respect for the family, in the head.
