Trump departs Washington in final hours as president, travels to Florida

President Donald Trump arrived in Florida just before 11 a.m. on Wednesday, with an hour left in his presidency, as he opted to skip the swearing in and instead retreat to his residence on the coast.

Air Force One buzzed Mar-a-Lago shortly before landing. Trump departed Washington in the morning, delivering a send-off speech to supporters at Joint Base Andrews and then boarded Air Force One as president a final time.
