The hunt for an 18-year-old Texas man who had pleaded guilty in the drunk-driving deaths of four people, but avoided jail time by successfully claiming his family's affluence — or "affluenza" — was to blame, ended Monday night when Mexican authorities detained him and his mother in a popular resort city.
