Samaritans exec to throw Red Sox first pitch as part of National Suicide Prevention Month

Kacy Maitland, chief clinical officer of Samaritans, will throw out the first pitch in honor of National Suicide Prevention Awareness month. Samaritans, the state’s largest suicide prevention organization, will be honored at pre-game ceremonies at Tuesday’s Red Sox game at Fenway Park. Maitland will represent Samaritans as part of the Red Sox “Changeup the Conversation,” a season-long initiative, which platforms mental health support organizations.
