Three top Trump administration officials, including the vice president, were interrupted by protesters during a photo opportunity on Wednesday with National Guard troops deployed to Washington, D.C.
As Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller met with National Guard personnel, they were at times drowned out by nearby protesters, who shouted “Free D.C.!” The event took place at a Shake Shack inside Union Station, Washington’s central transportation hub.
