Chris Christie was a candidate in the 2024 presidential election. He ran for the Republican nomination.

Christie announced his campaign on June 7, 2023. He suspended his campaign on January 10, 2024.

Christie served as the 55th governor of New Jersey from 2010 to 2018.

He previously ran for president in 2016, losing the Republican primary to Donald Trump. Christie went on to lead the Trump transition team into the White House.
