NYT: Biden Admin Secretly Involved in Ukraine War ‘Far More Than Previously Known’

A new investigative report from The New York Times (Lean Left bias) goes deep on “the untold story of America’s hidden role in Ukrainian military operations” and found “America was woven into the war far more than previously known.”

The Details: The March 29 report, which runs over 13,000 words, digs into several ways the Biden administration boosted Ukraine’s war effort, including providing battlefield assistance from a U.S. base in Germany and having the U.S. military and CIA guide strikes on Russian territory. The report outlines how Biden’s administration became more deeply involved as the conflict went on and “kept moving its red lines.”

For Context: To compile the report, reporter Adam Entous “conducted more than 300 interviews over more than a year with government, military and intelligence officials in Ukraine, the United States, Britain, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Turkey.” Entous also published a shorter 1,000-word piece of “key takeaways” from his report.

How The Media Covered It: As of Monday morning, the report has not been widely covered by Western mainstream media. ZeroHedge (Lean Right) opened its coverage by claiming The Times’ report “is years too late and alternative and independent media had already done so much work on exposing the reality.” ZeroHedge added that “mainstream media gatekeepers” are changing tunes now that “Ukrainian forces clearly losing.” The Kyiv Independent (Center) highlighted the Biden administration’s “anger” and “panic” in April 2022 after it told Ukraine it had identified Russia’s Moskva battleship, and Kyiv immediately neutralized it without a “heads-up.”
