US and EU Announce Agreement on Trade

Earlier this week, President Trump and European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker made a joint announcement on what they described as a "new phase" in EU-US relations after meeting at the White House to discuss trade. Before this agreement, many had feared an all-out trade war with the EU, but the two parties have agreed to work to lower tariffs and other barriers to trade.
