Xi praises US state visit 'perfection' as Trump calls meetings 'very productive'

Chinese President Xi Jinping praised the level of "perfection" on display during his state visit to the White House, and President Donald Trump said Friday the two world leaders had a "very productive" time in Washington.

Trump, speaking to reporters as he and first lady Melania Trump hosted Xi and first lady of China Madame Peng Liyuan for tea at the White House, said, "We've had a tremendous visit from two spectacular people," and, "we've made great strides, very positive for both countries."
