Arizona and Wisconsin Certify Biden Victories, Trump Campaign Files Lawsuit

Arizona and Wisconsin certified Joe Biden’s presidential election victories on Monday. Officials from both parties in each state said their elections were "conducted with transparency, accuracy and fairness." The Wisconsin certification follows a partial recount, requested and paid for by President Donald Trump's campaign, which slightly increased Biden’s 20,600-vote lead. On Tuesday, the Trump campaign filed a lawsuit challenging Wisconsin’s results, alleging that roughly 220,000 ballots from mostly Democratic counties violated state law. Coverage in some left-rated outlets called Trump’s fraud claims “conspiracies” and mentioned that the Trump campaign’s lawsuit targeted counties with a majority of Wisconsin’s black residents. Some coverage in right-rated outlets didn't counter Trump's claims, and mentioned the narrowness of Biden’s victories in each state.
