A Project Veritas (Right bias) journalist covertly recorded a Pfizer executive, Jordon Trishton Walker, who claimed Pfizer has experimented with mutating COVID-19.
The Details: Project Veritas released bodycam footage from a “date” between one of their journalists and Pfizer executive Jordon Trishton Walker. During the outing, Walker says Pfizer has experimented with mutating COVID-19 to make it “more potent”. Walker claimed “research of the viruses and mutating (them)... would be the ultimate cash cow”. Upon realizing he was being recorded, he claimed his words were all lies, and became violent, trying to destroy the journalist's iPad.
For Context: The footage has gone viral since being posted Wednesday. In the video, Walker clarifies that Pfizer’s research is “Directed Evolution” and not gain-of-function research, a form of mutation research made legal by the United States in 2017. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) called on Pfizer to respond publicly. Pfizer has since issued a statement denying conduction of gain-of-function or directed evolution research.
How The Media Covered It: The recording sparked charged reactions among social media users and from pundits like Dr. Robert Malone and Tucker Carlson. Few mainstream outlets have covered the story. The original Project Veritas story was banned by YouTube. AllSides has been unable to find any coverage of the footage from left-rated outlets.

Florida Republican Sen.
