A gunman entered the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, on Saturday, killing 11 people. The suspect, Robert Bowers, is in custody.
President Trump said that the suspect responsible for killing and injuring multiple people and police officers at a Pittsburgh synagogue Saturday “should get the death penalty,” saying the suspect should “pay the ultimate price.”
President Trump denounced the mass shooting inside a Pittsburgh synagogue as a “wicked act of pure evil and anti-Semitic,” and for the fourth consecutive day condemned political violence.
Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. Bob Casey and Gov. Tom Wolf canceled a series of campaign events with other state Democratic candidates Saturday in light of the shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue earlier in the morning.
