The Pentagon has asked commanders to nominate only the fittest service members with 'impeccable grooming' to attend Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's State of the Force address later this month.

Any soldier looking to attend the annual speech should meet certain 'physical standards,' Pentagon officials wrote in an email on Tuesday to Army commanders, which was obtained by the Wall Street Journal.

That includes passing the Army's waist-to-height ratio, the Army fitness test and having 'impeccable grooming (no exception).'...
