Trump Inks Deal for 300K Metric Tons of Beef Imports

President Donald Trump on Friday morning said he had finalized a deal "to substantially lower the price of ground beef."

Trump said the United States will temporarily allow up to 300,000 metric tons of ground beef to enter the country without an out-of-quota tariff, an effort aimed at bringing relief to consumers while allowing domestic ranchers time to rebuild depleted cattle herds.
