Progressive lawmaker drops unexpected confession about Trump

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) just made a shocking admission in favor of President Donald Trump.

In an interview on “The Tim Dillon Show” released earlier this week, Sanders was asked whether there was a position the Democratic Party could take that recognizes the importance of U.S. citizenship and border security.

“As long as we have nation states, which we have, you got to have borders, right?” the progressive lawmaker said. “If you don’t have any borders, then you don’t have a nation, right, in a sense. So has historically the United States done well under Democrats and Republicans protecting the border? The answer is no.”...
