As drought tightens its grip on the border region, Laredo could be one of the cities to benefit from a $400 million water investment announced during the NADBank Summit '25 in San Antonio. The Water Resiliency Fund, launched by the North American Development Bank, aims to help border communities conserve and diversify their water sources.
