Can’t Hate the Media Enough, Most Republicans Say

Nearly half of voters believe the news media are biased in favor of Democrats, and most Republicans think it’s impossible to hate the media too much.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 47% of Likely U.S. Voters say that, in terms of their political coverage, most news media organizations are biased in favor of Democrats. Just 23% believe the media are biased in favor of Republicans, while 19% think most of the media are pretty much objective and neutral in their political coverage and 10% are not sure. Last October, 50% said the media were biased in favor of Democrats.  (To see survey question wording, click here.)
